Often times great concepts are created in a very small amount of time, through short bursts of brilliance. Adam Simha of MKS Design had such an experience with the conceptualization of the 5 Minute Chair, which was named after the time it took him to develop the chair's prototype.
The 5 Minute Chair is a testament to Simha's mastery over metal. The steel from which the piece derives is dense, and as a result, hard to manipulate. But Simha was able to work with the material in a way that maintained the steel's structural integrity, while also making a chair that is sleek and surprisingly comfortable. Because of the chair's strength and durability, the 5 Minute Chair will last for a lifetime and beyond.
