Carly Glovinski
Carly Glovinski investigates patterns, icons, and organizing mechanisms of the everyday world. She uses repetitive mark making and methodical craft processes to show reverence for the process of weaving, the behavior of objects, and the grandeur of nature. Glovinski references vintage folding beach chairs, rag rugs, takeout boxes, and puzzles. She exhibits nationally, including shows in NYC and a recent 2018 exhibition at the Colby Museum of Art.
